A Parlour Concert with Mister Keith

A Performing Arts event

@ Chapel-en-le-Frith Town Hall, Cost: Adult £10; 16 and Under £8.5

On Sat 3rd Nov 2018, from: 19:30 to: 21:45

Contact: Annie for more information

Join Mister Keith and his orchestra of multi-instrumentalists as they take you on a journey from the flickering candlelight of his parlour with quintessentially English songs and stories of life, love, faith and hope. A splendid evening of gently quirky, expertly crafted songs - think Ray Davies, Squeeze - stories and humour by the self-professed originator of 'Victorian Pop'. With song styles ranging from jaunty showground to slow lament, all carried forward by lilting melodies and warm, characteristically English vocals, the bowler-hatted Mister Keith and his mini 'orchestra' invoke memories of times gone by. An intimate little gem.

The Parlour Concert will be a night like no other. Interactive and humorous, songwriter extraordinaire Mister Keith conducts a heart-warming evening of song, conversation and a few special surprises for guests! You may find Mister Keith singing amongst the audience, conducting you as a choir or writing impromptu songs on the spot!
