Sunjay in Concert

Blues, folk and a little bit of Buddy Holly!

With talents way beyond his years, Derby-born Sunjay is an extremely accomplished blues-folk guitarist and singer/songwriter reminiscent of Ralph McTell, John Martyn and early Tim Buckley. Well known on the UK folk scene, Sunjay is an artist with a rare mix of youth (he has just turned 25), combined with a superb, experienced and intricate acoustic guitar style.

Sunjay played the lead role of Buddy Holly, in Simon Fielder’s travelling theatre show of Buddy Holly &The Cricketers, a role he was offered when he went for an audition in London for a backing singer and guitarist.

We saw him live at the Live and Local Roadshow and we can state categorically he's an act not to be missed
