Chapel Arts was formed to encourage the development of a broad range of arts in the Chapel-en-le-Frith area. Whether you are interested in Literature, Performing Arts, Film or Visual Arts and Crafts we hope you will find something to interest you and will come along to our events.

It is with great regret that Chapel Arts is closing most its activities in line with the Governments advice on social distancing. The Creative Writing Group and Spoken Word Evenings hope to continue online. We shall resume our other events once it is safe to proceed.

Our 2020-21 Short Story Competition is now closed and judging has commenced. We will be annoucing the winners on here and our Facebook page shortly.

You can find information about Successes for our Creative Writing Group and also for one of our Trustees, Simone Hubbard on the Blog. Mark and Caroline's winning stories are on our Blog together with those of Steph, Simone and Pete. (Drops down under the Information Tab). They can be seen reading their stories on our Youtube channel (link above) where you can also find recordings of some of the Spoken Word Evenings..

You might also enjoy these short films on the Peak in the Past website. The folktales filmed on location feature our own Mark Henderson.
